Financial Planning & Analysis-Bangalore Location


Job Location: Bangalore, India


Þ    Compilation of monthly financials (P&L, B/S, Free Cash Flow, Indirect Spend, etc.) and first pass analysis for monthly reviews
Þ    Manage cost center budgeting/forecasting for various functional groups and analyze results on a monthly basis
Þ    Develop and implement financial trend reports to identify performance issues within the business and risks or opportunities in current financial plan/forecast
Þ    Support functional reporting requirements and drive continued improvements in automating reporting and analysis
Þ    Support financial process for the 5 year strategic plan (STRAP), the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts
Þ    Provide support and analysis for the Monthly Operations Review process and other related processes
Þ    Provide support and analysis for competitor review and economic indicators trends
Þ    Support Ad Hoc systems and data requests from finance teams
Þ    Update and maintain Business Intranet sites
Þ    Play the role of a functional expert in SAP, Hyperion Financial Management and other business reporting tools

Qualification and Professional Experience:

  1. A minimum degree in commerce / finance (equivalent of Bachelor’s degree).

Technical Abilities:

  1. Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management is a must.
  2. Excellent in MS Office Tools (Excel , Word, Access and Power point)
  3. Fluent in verbal English and in written communication
  4. Strong financial analysis skills; ability to think outside of traditional role to evaluate business implications
  5. Ability to work under strict deadlines and balancing workload demands
  6. Self-starter and self-finisher with high energy level
  7. Challenges the status quo and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement
  8. Quickly adapts to changing circumstances
  9. Understanding of key business drivers
  10. Demonstrated capability of managing multiple, concurrent tasks
  11. Excellent Data Mining skills
  12. Expert level knowledge in Financial Analysis and Reporting





Additional:
  1. Additional qualifications are preferable like MBA Finance, CPA, CWA-Inter, ACS-Inter, CA Inter or other professional courses in Finance / Accounts (including candidates pursuing final year of MBA Finance, CFA or other professional courses)MBA (or equivalent) is a plus
  2. Six Sigma skills preferred
  3. Self motivated, self-starter, result oriented individual
  4. Ability to learn quickly and improve / implement financial forecasting process
  5. Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  6. Ability to present complex data in simple and understandable manner
  7. Strong financial and business analytical skills, with global mindset
  8. Strong project management skills with ability to bring complex projects to closure in a timely manner
  9. Adept at prioritizing work and coordinating tasks simultaneously
  10. Show flexibility and ability to adept to changing work environment and requirements, work under pressure with sense of urgency, and meet tight deadlines
  11. Flexibility to work Global Timings
  12. Exposure to Global Customers. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees/customers and align and integrate with other departments / sites of HSM
