Senior Process Technology Engineer- Hydro processing
The role of Senior Process Technology Engineer in the Delhi Engineering –Hydro processing Technology Center is to deliver projects with high quality and on schedule, following the UOP work process. He will also provide Team Leadership on select projects within the Hydro processing Technologies center to ensure flawless execution of projects. The Senior Process Technology Engineer will maintain a high level of billable work activities.
Key Position Accountabilities (from the Position Profile)
• Run process models. Prepare PFD's
• Complete process studies and present results to customer
• Run hydraulics programs and issue complete, correct hydraulic specifications
• Use UOP tool set to prepare information required by vessel, exchanger, and rotating equipment specialists
• Identify changes and mark up P&ID's in preparation for P&ID checks
• Perform relief valve calculations and prepare 807 ( Relief Valve) specifications
• Follow UOP procedures for the release and revision of process and project specifications
• Conduct feasibility studies
• Lead P&ID Checks
• Meet commitments to finish tasks on time and makes milestone targets.
• Look for opportunities to improve productivity through the use of new or improved tools, procedures and personal work methods.
• Produce work that is consistent, correct, timely, and complete
• Develop task schedule consistent with project timing requirements and availability of equipment specialists and Design Engineers
• Lead team, monitor progress, recognize opportunities for improvement and take corrective actions
• Lead key project meetings, ensuring full participation by all parties and closure on issues
• Assess the technical aspects of the entire design package, recognize and correct any deficiencies
• Manage the customer interface
• Review and report on project quality and schedule on a regular basis
• Ensure all projects follow WPC-10 and are completed within budgeted man hours
• Make sure "Quality" of all deliverables are met & also escalate issues in a timely manner
• Recommend work process improvements, including justifications
• Recognize and champion new ideas. Use knowledge and theory to draw conclusions that demonstrate new concepts and extend our technology

Basic Qualifications for the Position:
• BE or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering
• 10-15 years experience in the engineering field with majority in Hydro processing process technology (development, design, operations or service).
• Field experience in Hydro processing is desirable
Additional Qualifications for the Position:
• Familiarization with UOP Engineering work process
• Demonstrate excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong field experience in Hydro processing technologies.

• Close coordination with other UOP engineering offices is required
• Up to 10% travel required, both domestic and international
